Tainable is a national nonprofit located in McMinnville, Oregon with a mission to REVERSE CLIMATE CHANGE through organic rejuvenation of the planet’s soil.
Tainable focuses on 3 core program areas to reduce soil carbon emissions at scale:
Providing laboratory, farmland, and collaboration to leverage data and insights to highlight how large organic waste producers can monetize their waste at scale while reducing their carbon footprint.
Catalyzing capital to spur “before and after” agricultural innovation to demonstrate regenerative soil practices that empirically sequester carbon.
Mobilizing and connecting critical agricultural system players to take targeted action, on an emergency planetary footing, to reduce climate change by promoting the furtherance of soil rejuvenation and agrobiodiversity.
AN OPEN LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER:
Macroeconomists are now advising leading financial entities to brace for significant disruptions in commodity markets, human migration patterns, and water distribution due to climate change within the next decade. It's clear that immediate action is needed to mitigate these impacts.
Tainable's approach to addressing climate change through soil and water management presents a promising solution. By harnessing the expertise of our world class scientists and implementing proven methods on a large scale, there's potential to significantly reduce the severity of these disruptions. This requires immediate substantial financial support and a shift towards implementing systemic changes rather than focusing solely on incubators and pilot projects.
